Quick Start Guide

Get up and running with Fusion in no time. Follow these steps to set up your media center.

Getting Started

1. Addons Are Key

Fusion is addon-based, just like a browser. Start by adding your first addons:

  • Catalog: Libraries of content.
  • Metadata: Details about movies, shows, etc.
  • Resource Location: Link resolvers (e.g., Torrentio).

2. Add Addons

Go to Settings > Addons and add at least one of each type. Use HTTPS URLs only (e.g., https://example.com/manifest.json).

Trakt Setup

Connect Trakt

Sync your watch progress with Trakt. Go to Settings > Trakt > Connect with Trakt.

Set an Auto-sync Interval (e.g., every minute) to keep your data up-to-date.

External Players

Set Up External Players

Fusion relies on external players like Infuse or VLC. Go to Settings > Player > External Player to configure.

For the best experience, use Infuse and connect your Trakt account in both Fusion and Infuse for seamless sync.

Pro Tips

Rename Catalogs

Customize catalog names to make them your own.

Configure Containers

Group catalogs into dynamic containers for a fresh experience.

Auto-Select First Source

Enable this in Settings > Player to skip the source selection screen.

Hero Section

Customize your homepage with a featured catalog in the Hero Section.

Container Configuration

Dynamic Containers

Group catalogs into dynamic containers to keep your homepage fresh. For example:

  • Genre Spotlight: Rotate between Action, Thriller, Romance, etc.
  • New Releases: Show the latest movies and shows.

Important Notes

Fusion is content-neutral and relies on external addons. No P2P functionality is supported.
